These are my rankings for the top 5 NFL Teams

1. New Orleans Saints - The blowout win over the Patriots has made a believer out of me. The Saints are the best all around team in the NFL. (Offense, Defense, Special Teams) They have no weakness.

2. Minnesota Vikings - The Vikings are clicking on all cylinders and playing really well. My only issue with the Vikings is that they have played an extremely weak schedule. The only winning teams that they have faced are the Packers, Steelers and Ravens. The Steelers beat them and the Ravens would have if not for a missed field goal as time expired.

3. Indianapolis Colts - The Colts are living dangerously. They keep playing from behind week after week. Eventually their slow starts and all of the injuries will catch up to them.

4. San Diego Chargers - Just like every other season the Chargers are playing their best football as the season progresses. The Chargers have the offensive talent to score with any team in the NFL. San Diego's weakness is on the defensive side of the ball.

5. New England Patriots - The Pats image took a big hit on Monday Night. Nobody blows out the Pats...nobody except the Saints that is. Losing a 17 point lead to the Colts.....getting blown out by the Saints......cracks are beginning to show in the armor.

It is clear that the Vikings are the best team in the NFL right now. They have an explosive offensive and a vicious defense. If they can keep playing at this level they are guaranteed a spot in the NFC Championship game against the Saints.

I still think Adrian Peterson is the best running back in the NFL. Chris Johnson is just having a better 2009 season. Think of it like this. Jamal Lewis ran for 2006 yards in 2003 but was he considered a better back then LT? Nope. AP is fumbling too much right now but if I am starting a team today; I will take AP at tailback.

The Bears look horrible. Jay Cutler looks dejected and it appears that the team has given up. Lovie Smith looks like a goner.

I think Clinton Portis is done. Rock Cartwright and Marcus Mason both look younger and fresher then Portis did when he was healthy. I still think Jason Campbell is a quality NFL quarterback in the right system with the right coach. He would be an upgrade on the Panthers, Dolphins, Bills or Browns.

The Bucs, Browns and Rams may only have 1 win but they never quit. They fight hard for 60 full minutes. These teams lose because of inferior talent not because of a lack of effort.
